Giddy up & Yeeeehaw!

We celebrated the twins 4th birthday with a pink cowgirl theme!

I always start planning months in advance - the ideas online are endless and it's so fun to see it all come together.

We even considered having a couple of small ponies for the kids to ride, but it turned out the weather was not ideal and so we're saving that for another year...!

We improvised with some ponies from our own collection!

The girls loved the cowgirl theme - and mostly because they know their daddy loves his cowboy boots & hat and they want to be just like him (heaven help me)!

Ms. K already had a pair of boots (handed down from cousin H), but daddy took Ms. R to pick out a new pair.  This was of course a highlight for them both!

Once party day arrived - the girls were MORE than ready to put on their denim dresses & boots and party it up!

Here's a glimpse into our special day - still can't believe they are FOUR!

We were blessed with many family & friends.

Can't tell you what it means to have so many people who love up on our girls.

 They know they are LOVED and that is my favorite part about these birthday parties.

 Front and center - GG (Great Grandma) definitely won the prize for best dressed!

 She & Grauntie D were not messing around when it came to showing up in cowgirl style!

A good party shan't be complete without lots of treats & eats.

We went with pizza for the main course, but I tried to supply some fun goodies to much on before hand!

Setting up the main table was really fun.  I love decorating with their pictures!

And no cowgirl party is complete without delicious CAKE!

 We all indulged in a little cowgirl juice throughout the day!

It's probably good these parties only come up once a year.... it's taken me the better part of a week to undo and unwind from the festivities!

I LOVE, love putting it all together for the girls and it's especially fun to see their faces as they realize it's party day!
