Ms. A's 1st birthday ~ in photographs!

Ohhhhhh... did we have FUN!

After a fun wake up call from her big sister..... we were off and running with Ms. A's big day.

We all woke up with smiles on our faces... and especially the big sisters who love a party!!

We started with {birthday cake} panny-cakes.... Ms. A's favorite after all!

She was pretty happy with that menu item!

After breakfast it was time for party dresses.

Ms. A sported the same dress the twins wore for their 1st birthday .. a gift from Grandma J.

How cute she was!!

After a busy morning of birthday fun and play - it was time for little Ms. A to take a short nap.

Meanwhile.... the big sisters and I got busy in the kitchen!

The girls LOVED helping me make Ms. A's cake.

They were a tad perplexed as to why we had to wait so long to frost the cake!

Waiting for a cake to cool feels like an eternity to a three year old!

But - at last the cake was cool and it was time to get our creative juices flowing!

Daddy hung out with Ms. A...

While we were busy with all that yummy frosting!

 Some of which ... definitely ended up in our tummies!

Oh well! The girls really wanted to help me do the actual frosting so I thought... why not?

We weren't trying to win a decorating contest.... and I think it turned out pretty well in the end!

After all that fun (and sugar) it was time for afternoon naps!!

The girls slept like angels..... 2+ hours for everyone!

It was perfect .. allowing me time to get busy making Ms. A's birthday dinner.

Which... was devoured pretty well considering all the girls could think about was that CAKE!!

Right after dinner - Grandma J arrived with ice cream and was ready to dive into the cake with us!

But first.... the HAPPY BIRTHDAY song!

After getting a first little taste in her mouth - she basically dug RIGHT in.

She ate EVERY LAST BITE.... and we are not talking about a little piece of cake!

She even tried to eat the frosting stuck to her plate!!

SO MUCH FUN!

After all the CHOCOLATE - we of course headed straight for the TUB!!

The sugar must have kicked in because she was acting a little nutty! :)

She finally crashed out about 9pm.

She was a tired little birthday princess.

So blessed to have a day at home to celebrate her very special day!

We're looking forward to her big birthday bash with extended family at the end of the month!

Should be another wonderful day!

Still can't believe my baby is ONE!!
