Our sweet baby Ayla Anne,

One whole month has come -- and gone -- since you entered our lives.

It's been a month FULL of life in our home...

When you came ... you filled a much needed gap...

It was like we were missing something.

And, we were missing something ..... it was sweet little you.

You've brought a sense of calm -- in the midst of chaos.

You've brought genuine smiles and loads of laughter.

You've brought excitement and anticipation.

You've brought endless snuggles -- completely filling our hearts.

You've brought that "new baby" fragrance... the one that captures everyone who holds you.

You've brought special, middle of the night talks between mommy and daddy.

You've brought a binding LOVE between three sisters.

You've brought a reminder to slow down and cherish tiny little toes and fingers.

You've brought a need for itty, bitty things spread sweetly across our home.

You've brought beautiful blue eyes that dance across the room as you watch your sisters play.

You've brought peace --- at a time that would seem quite the opposite.

You've brought new JOY to your mama's heart.

You've brought all the special ingredients -- making our family feel more love than we thought possible.

You've brought all the right things, sweet Ayla baby -- and we love every little, bitty part of you and your sweet soul.

Here's to slowing down -- and not growing quite so fast this next month....
