Ms. K woke up with an infection (bright red cheek and a very puffy eye) on the left side her face this morning. We went to see the pediatrician and she was put on an antibiotic. BIG thanks to Uncle M who came to stay with Ms. R so we could go in first thing this morning. Daddy had to round this morning, but he's home now which makes me feel better. We will monitor her closely and we will know if the meds are working if the redness doesn't spread further. We mostly worry about it spreading to her eye. She's been in a pretty good mood today, considering the circumstances, but Mama and Daddy hate to see her sick with anything, of course. She's taking a much needed nap right now. Sweet little babe. We will keep you posted.
