Pizza night!

Over the past few months we've had so much fun taking the girls out for pizza.  Since daddy works so much he LOVES taking the girls out and about because he is so proud of them!!
The nervous nelly in me is always a bit worried when taking the girls out to eat because it can be quite a scene if things don't go well!

We've come up with a great system, though, and it cuts down on the whole "scene" part!!

When we decide it's "Pizza Night" we simply call our order in ahead of time so it's ready when we walk through the door.  They have started to get to know us now -- so they are literally all set up and ready when we get there. And...everyone seems to love the girls! :)

We've even been sitting at the exact same table each time!! The nice part is we CLEAR our table and use a neighboring table for the pizza, drinks, etc.

Not trying to fool anyone ... we still leave quite the mess on the floor by the time we are "all done", but the pizza crew doesn't seem to mind.

Oh ... and we try to go early .... like 4:30...BEFORE the dinner rush.  This way if the girls do decide to get fussy we don't feel like we are buggin' anyone trying to enjoy their delicious pizza!!

Since we know pizza isn't the healthiest dinner choice we always try to bring fruit or something to add to the girl's meal and they always eat really well.

Overall .. we have just had a ton of fun taking them out for PIZZA!! All said and done we are in and out within 45 minutes and that seems to be long enough for the girls!! We then head home for play, bath, jammies and bed.  All with full tummies of PIZZA, PIZZA!

With love,
Cuz I'm the mama!

  1. We love to go out for pizza too! The girls love going to Broadway Pizza because they have a cool train going around the restaurant. I just love that we have found a place that we can actually go to and that all of us can enjoy. We also go early and try not to be there too long, but since everyone else in the restaurant at the time has little kids too, I think we all make each other feel comfortable and that makes us worry less about making a scene! Have a great Thanksgiving! Hope your hubby has some time off!
