The little fire engine that could!

We took the girls to the mall last week so they could run around and burn some of that "toddler energy"!  We planned to use the stroller to roam about, but then we all spotted the fire truck and could not resist!

After MUCH "de-germing" (aka: wiping the ENTIRE thing down)....we had a blast motoring around the mall in the red fire truck!!

Ms. R was in charge of steering!! She did a great job leading us around the mall!

Equally as important .. Ms. K brought up the rear! She took on the responsibility of waving and greeting other mall-goers.  It was as if she was in a parade!

We also stopped to play at the little tumbling gym....but with these fast movers there wasn't a moment to capture any of it. 

Unfortunately -- they were more interested in running OUT of the play area than staying in and playing.

They had such a blast running up and down the mall hallways -- and occasionally into the stores, too.

In one store --- apparently Ms. R was interested in making some purchases as she was grabbing anything she could from the shelves...

Meanwhile....Ms. K was more interested in stores like Abercrombie and Hollister (aka: stores for teens!!) because they blast such loud music.  She wanted to shake her booty as usual!!

It was a very good test to see if mama was ready to bring them to the mall on her own -- and the answer to that question is a resounding NO!!

But -- we sure had fun with the little red fire engine!!

And, the guidance counselor in me says.....it's never too early to start thinking about your career!

Perhaps we have two little fire chiefs in the making!
