9 month stats!

Good Saturday morning all,
Been kind of a hum drum week around here.  Just a lot of hanging out, but not doin' a whole lot.  We soaked up as much sun and outside time as the wet MN summer would allow. We had a fun visit from Grauntie D. and Great Grandma H. on Monday and we attempted a "pool party" on Wednesday, but got rained out.  :(  Other than that - just not too much going on.  We are very much looking forward to seeing lots of family this week, though, for the big 4th of July weekend!!  Woooo hoooo!! :-)

Any who....we had our 9 month check yesterday and ALL IS WELL!! It feels good to go and see the doc and get checked out head to toe.  It is always a relief to know we are on track with growth and development.

The 9 month appointment doesn't include getting any shots - alleluia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It was sure a nice hiatus from that.  The girls did well and Dr. Palmer was all smiles when she saw how big they are getting.

After getting weighed and measured the girls continue to be within ounces of each other.  They have been this way since birth.  Makes it easy cheesy for dressing and diapering them when they continue to be the same size.  Thanks, girls!!!

Here are their stats at 9 months:

Ms. K:
Weight: 21 pounds/3 ounces (75-90 percentile)
Height: 29 inches (90-95 percentile)
Head Size: 44 (50 percentile)

Ms. R:
Weight: 20 pounds/10.5ounces (75-90 percentile)
Height: 29 inches (90-95 percentile)
Head Size: 44.5 (50 percentile)

As you can see...they are growing well, but their weight gain has tapered off quite a bit from our last appointment.

Dr. Palmer suggested we keep "doin' what we're doin".....so that makes this mama happy!!

Happy weekend y'all!!

With love,
Cuz I'm the mama!

  2. What a great appointment and awesome stats. My girls still are not close to 21 pounds at 14 months. Enjoy the sun and cuddling with those sweet girls. :)
