First Pool Party!

Pure JOY!

We had a very exciting day yesterday!! The girls enJOYed their very first pool party!!

We were very much anticipating this "event" because the girls love to splash in their bathtubs and so we were hoping they would also enjoy playing in the pool.  We were very pleased with how much fun they had!  The pictures capture it best...

As you can see....it was a huge success.  Granted...it may have only last 15 minutes, but it was SO FUN to see the smiles and splashes.  It was the perfect day for a pool party and it's one we will never forget!!

The process of gearing up for the pool party - now that is a little different story!!  Between changing into swim diapers, putting on swim suits, sun screening the daylights out of the babes and then getting the pool ready to go.................let's just say EXHAUSTING!  And - then.....when it's all done....changing OUT of the swim diapers, back into clean clothes and cleaning up the pool.  EXHAUSTING!  For now we will probably just have a "pool party" when Daddy is home or we have other special visitors.  Not sure if this mama has it in her to get through all of that alone - yet!
